Missed Concepts

  • LR+ = probability of patient with disease testing positive (TP) divided by probability of patient without disease testing positive (FP).
  • LR+ = TP / FP
  • LR+ = sensitivity / 1-specificity
  • Multiple Linear regression is used to compare a quantitative dependent variable with 2+ independent variables that can be either quantitative or qualitative.
  • Multiple Logistic regression is used when the dependent variable is dichotomous and there are multiple independent variables.
  • Net clinical benefit takes into account the benefits and harms of an intervention.
