Precision and Accuracy

• MAP is the only measured value and is the most accurate
• SBP and DBP are calculated based on the Rs and Rd values, which vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, but are often around 0.5 and 0.7.
• Correlation with IABP are 0.6 for SBP and 0.45 for DBP
• Average difference between NIBP and IABP is 2.8 ± 27.2 mmHg for SBP and 8.9 ± 20.9 mmHg for DBP.
